Simone Mazzoleni

Director of Photography and Colorist, based in Milan, Italy.
After attending a scenography course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, he graduated in Cinema and Visual Arts in Rome.
After moving to Milan, he graduated in Film Shooting and Cinematography from the Luchino Visconti Civic School of Cinema.
He started working on set as a Director of Photography. Set after set, he chose to explore color grading to better understand how to work on set and achieve the results he envisioned for the final image. With each grading session and masterclass, Simone decided to focus on post-production in his career, moving away from the commercial side of on-set work.
He is currently working as a colorist in both commercials and cinema and continues to work on set for independent films.
